Title: Sr. Technical Security Engineer

Position Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for Information Security Penetration Testing across our Client's Enterprise.
The focus is ensuring that our Client's systems, networks, and environment are designed and implemented to the appropriate security standard. Additionally, the position will perform vulnerability scanning and risk analysis as well as penetration testing. 
This role will work closely with business units across the organization to enhance the overall security posture of our Client's environment.
Key contributions will be conducting reconnaissance, assessing technical and other control mechanisms, and validating exposures from a security perspective.

Essential Job Functions:

Perform Security Penetration Testing duties to include conducting hands-on security evaluations, threat modeling, and penetration testing of networks and infrastructure.
Research emerging products, services, protocols, and standards in support of security improvements and risk mitigation efforts. Provide recommendation to management on researched items.
Contribute significantly to the development of technical security policy, standards and baselines in order to guide operating practices within various information security subject areas [ie, operating system security, use of encryption, network security].
Engineer and maintain security solutions to protect a variety of users, applications, platforms and computing environments, including the development and maintenance of security testing and vulnerability assessment tools, methodologies, and processes.
Provide subject matter expertise to diverse teams across?our Client?through security consultation for remediation, risk analysis, and solution development for countermeasures.
Identify and resolve complex issues and develop innovative solutions to achieve business and technology goals while maintaining appropriate security.
Promote awareness and education in business units regarding security best practices and methodologies that support and achieve business objectives in a secure manner.
Deliver strategic advice and guidance in the design and implementation of security reviews and detailing system and environmental security vulnerabilities in a clear and concise manner.
Mitigate security exposures through the development of risk-based business recommendations.
Perform written and verbal presentations upon completion of security reviews and detailing system and environmental security vulnerabilities • in a clear and concise manner to different audiences.

Job Requirements:

Demonstrated knowledge of information security principles, standards, practices and subject areas
Expert with various network, host and application security protocols, tools and auditing packages
Extensive experience in network vulnerability testing and security assessments.
Information Security Certifications, such as CISSP and CEH, GPEN, CPT, GWAPT or GIA C
Strong foundation and in-depth technical knowledge of security engineering, computer and network security, authentication and security protocols, and applied cryptography.
Adept with onsite and remote penetration testing of network, web communications and all elements of LAN/WAN, Internet, IDS/IPS, encryption, and firewalls.
Skilled in the use of pen testing tools such as nmap, nessus, dsniff, backtrack, metasploit, coreimpact, network sniffers and fuzzers.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Flexible, self-motivated, and results-oriented with flexibility to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

JOB TITLE: Technical Support

PC Repair & Maintenance For a Trade Show Service Provider

PC repair and maintenance with good problem solving / debugging skills

A/V equipment repair and maintenance

Upgrades/Updates/Maintains all equipment as necessary for optimum performance

Primary maintenance of all software license keys and subscriptions

Works with warehouse manager to maintain equipment inventory list

Assist in keeping office clean and neat at all times

Assist with maintaining Master Database (Access) by entering show ID’s and Surveys

Client Support at Remote Venue

Travel to venue (drive or fly)

Coordinate installation of equipment with 3rd party vendors and client

Support equipment during actual show hours

Additional project work must be performed during support of shows.

Booth photos must be taken during events

Strike and pack equipment after event is concluded

Expeditiously return cleaned/scrubbed data back to home office for processing

Ensure that all equipment needed is in working order

In-house Event Planning & Packing

Works with warehouse staff to test and pack necessary equipment using check lists

Assists with development of INI configuration files and functional test of in-house equipment prior to pack and ship

Create badge decode configuration file based on samples

Conduct Pack

Work with other techs to preload and test custom software

Work with other techs to pre-program routers and LAN modems if possible

Test and pack required peripherals

Pack accessories as required

Boxes packed and labeled so that items can be easily identified at venue

Certify software / hardware configurations prior to final pack and ship

Backup LAN / Network Administrator

Assist with development and execution of backup plan for servers and company laptops which includes creation and management of master hard drive collection

Assist with administrator of Journyx and Team software

Assist with LAN and server maintenance as needed

Other Duties

Responsible for maintaining client content archive

Responsible for maintaining Core SW directory

Responsible for loading any new PC’s with standardized images (for deployment or internal use)

Assist with maintaining server rooms / wiring / neatness of cables

Assist with maintaining phone system

Assist with all in-house low voltage wiring (VE and OD)

Assist with post-event duties involving data clean-up, report generation, lead list creation
