What does a Gong Farmer do?

A gong farmer or gongfermor was the term used in Tudor England for a person who removed human excrement from privies and cesspits, gong being another word for dung. Gong farmers were only allowed to work at night and the waste they collected, known as night soil, had to be taken outside the city or town boundaries. As flushing water closets became more widely used, the profession of gong farming disappeared. A latrine or privy was the toilet of the Middle Ages. A gong farmer dug out the cesspits and emptied the excrement.

What does a Breath Odor Evaluator do?    

As a bad breath smeller, you must have an excellent nose to make sure that chewing gums and mouthwashes are good at keeping the users free of smell.

Odor judges smell nasty morning breath or breath “insulted” with strong scents, like garlic or coffee. They rate the breath on a scale from one to nine, one being the worst.   

If a person has just eaten dinner, or eaten anything with an unpleasant odor, the tester will smell that mouth from level 1 to level 9 to record whether that smell makes you vomit or not. Then the tester smells again after that person use chewing gums …

Watch out … these folks are going to have some great breath in store for you.   Like any dishes we eat, dog food needs to be inspected too. 

There is no way to “pretty” this one up folks, as a dog food tester you eat, sniff and evaluate dog food.  Dogs cannot tell you what their favorite kinds of food are, so it is required to have a professional taster to taste all those delicious doggie cuisines.  Yummy Yummy!!
