  Many human resource professionals are responsible for ensuring their companies comply with a myriad of employment law for hiring and recruiting.  This is an important and challenging responsibility because employment laws are continuously evolving. 

How do we stay current and keep our sanity?

A website and newsletter that I find particularly useful is the Employment Law Information Network at www.elinfonet.com.   

While this site can be used to research specific legal topics before calling an attorney, my favorite aspect is the Daily Email Newsletter that I subscribe to.  

The daily email provides relevant, pithy updates including the day’s headlines as well as contemporary employment law articles.  If you are responsible for compliance, this is a quick, free way to keep informed about the ever changing employment law landscape.
